Survey Regarding Ecology Journals

I am conducting a survey of ecologists related to perception of journal influence, prestige, and quality. I am recruiting ecologists to participate in a short survey (5-10 minutes to complete). The questions related to the quality and relative influence of ecology journals. The perception of ecologists will be compared with various citation-based metrics of journal influence and impact. The survey is anonymous and will be used for peer-reviewed publications. The survey is
voluntary and no compensation will be provided for completion.

You can access the survey at

Please pass this link along to anyone in ecology or related fields that might be willing to participate. If you have any questions you can contact me at dhocking at

About Daniel Hocking

I am a USGS Mendenhall Postdoctoral Fellow at the the S.O. Conte Anadromous Fish Research Center. I am interested in the use of statistical models in ecology and population biology. I model the abundance and occupancy of organisms in response to land-use and climate change. All opinions are my own and do not represent those of the government or any other organization.
